4 Steps to do a Lay-By

Visit the main counter

.Bring your material list straight to our team at the West Turffontein yard. We’ll check stock levels and give you an official, itemised quote.

Choose your 3-month split

Tell the team you're doing a Lay-By. Pay your initial deposit to freeze the price, and we’ll log your 3-month payment window into our system.

Pay your instalments

Pop back into the yard over the next 3 months to pay down your balance. You can pay weekly or monthly—whatever suits your cash flow, as long as it's settled within 90 days.

Collect your materials

The moment your final payment clears and the balance hits zero, your stock is officially released. Load it onto your bakkie or arrange with our desk for yard delivery.

Quick FAQs

Is this a loan?

No. We don't lend you money, and we don't hand over materials upfront. You are simply paying for your stock in pieces over 3 months. Because it’s your own money, there is zero debt and zero interest.

Are there any extra charges?

No. If your material quote is R10,000, your total layout over 3 months will be exactly R10,000. The only time a fee applies is if you cancel the agreement entirely, where a small 1% admin fee is kept to cover the cost of us holding that stock off the floor.

When can I collect my materials?

When the invoice is paid in full. To protect our yard stock and keep our prices low, we do not release a single item until the final instalment has cleared.

What if I miss the 3-month deadline?

Talk to us before the 90 days run out. If you go completely missing and miss the deadline, the Lay-By will be cancelled, your stock will go back on the floor, and your money will be refunded minus the standard 10% cancellation fee. Don't go quiet on us—come into the store and work it out with the team.
